for the Deaf. As an elementary student, Jessika's interest was piqued
by another student who was deaf and communicated using American Sign
Language.

Building Strong Families National Seminars
This webinar explores reward systems guaranteed to improve child behavior.
Date: 06/17/2010 from 9:00pm to 10:00pm
Ages: Parents Admission Fees: $9.95

Wouldn't it be great if child misbehavior improves just with the use of rewards instead implementing rules and consequences? This can be a reality if implemented correctly. Earning rewards encourages compliance and cooperation as it focuses on the child's strengths. Simply enforcing rules and consequences, although needed, can be a negative experience as the focus is mostly on the child's weaknesses and faults.

This webinar explores:

1. The importance of implementing a reward or token economy system to shape or improve the behavior of children,
2. How to extinguish a reward or token economy system to get the maximum benefit, and
3. Developing effective reward or token economy systems that are guaranteed to improve child behavior.

At the conclusion of this webinar, participants will have developed an effective reward (token economy) system for their home, classroom, or any other setting.

This webinar is extremely beneficial to parents (especially of strong-willed children), caregivers, Educators, and anyone else who works with children.

The presenter is Mark Lakewood, CEO of Building Strong Families National Seminars, a distinguished parenting expert, author, and speaker with over 20 years of clinical experience as a mental health therapist. Mr. Lakewood has an extensive history providing therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults. Several years ago, he developed and facilitated an effective parenting program for parents of strong-willed children that gained local recognition. This program taught parents strategies and techniques to help them effectively manage their children's behavior. Based on this program, Mr. Lakewood later created the Sudden Compliance Program and is currently offering it as a DVD/downloadable video and webinar series.

For a limited time, the cost to attend this webinar is only $9.95.

This webinar is presently scheduled for Thursday, June 17th, 2010, 2010 from 9:00pm to 10:00pm (Eastern Time). Seating is limited. Earlier dates are available. If the scheduled days/times are inconvenient, participants can schedule this live webinar to be presented on a day/time most convenient to them.

For more information or to pre-register, those interested are asked to visit http://www.ShapingBehaviorWithRewards.info.

"Serving families, individuals, parents, couples, and professionals, Building Strong Families National Seminars facilitates powerful educational conferences, parenting webinars, and family-related products with topics geared toward strengthening, empowering, and enhancing the family, schools, and the community."
