So whether you live in Ahwatukee/Foothills, Chandler, Gilbert, Queen Creek, Maricopa, Mesa, Scottsdale, OR Tempe (whew) we've got you covered on the best area activities and events for parents, children, teens, the whole family!

Using the calendar:

• View events a whole month at a time by clicking on the Month name (ie: January)
• View events by date by clicking on the date you are interested in. (If the date is black, there is no event listed.)
• View events by neighborhood by choosing which area you are interested in.
• Click on double arrows to see additional months.
• Use the Parent Planner by checking the boxes of the Events you are interested in for printing later and sending to your friends!

First Saturdays - Fun, Family & Interactive Art
Date: The 1st Sa of every month from 11:00am to 3:00pm
Ages: 4-12 Admission Fees: Free
Special Instructions: Arrive anytime between 11a-3p

First Saturdays at ASU's Art Museum feature hands-on art projects for kids aged 4-12 and their families.  The projects are typically based on a current museum exhibit with a one-page information sheet with kid-friendly talking points.  Families are invited to view the exhibits and discuss the art.  This event is a free, monthly, family-friendly event. 

 

There is no cost to participate and everyone gets to keep their art projects. There is also no registration required – families can just show up any time during the day. All of the materials are supplied by the museum.
