This is a very large hotel, 12 floors. There is a pool with hot tub and a fire pit for sitting by on chilly nights. There is a restaurant on site. We stayed on the concierge floor, which meant we had free breakfast and snacks at night.
Amenities include: pool, health club, internet access.

There is a Shoneys across the street from Hilton- breakfast bar is $10. Applebees across the street as well.

North Park Mall is 5 minutes from Hilton, this is a great Mall. Dillards, JC Penney, Aeropostile, Hollister, and Abrocrobie, among others... and a great food court with McAlisters Deli and a Chick-fil-a.

Tinseltown Movie and Jackson Zoo was great. At the Zoo we saw elephants, tigers, bears and a 3 legged female wolf. There is also a snake house.

Lots of traffic in Jackson.

Affordable prices we had a group rate at the hotel as we were with a large group.

The Zoo was so fun. It opens at 9 am and tickets are $8 adults $6 kids

We ate at a wonderful place Pan Asia. You must try this place if you go to Jackson!!!! The food was so so yummy.

Vicksburg is close. Lots of history there. We stopped at the visitors center and got free coffee and a free Mississippi map.

Pros Getting away with family is always a good thing right?
