Family Highlights Sightseeing, walking around, eating out, museums, bowling, shopping, bonding as a family, just having FUN
Accomodations Embassy Suites embassysuites.com (501) 624-9200 ------------------ This hotel is attached to the convention center. We attended a concert @ the Summitt Arena, also attached to hotel as well. Its a 8 story hotel with a gift shop and free breakfast. The gift shop has snacks, like chips, drinks and cookies. Our room had a microwave and fridge and two tvs. Amenities include: refrigerator, internet access.
Dining Highlights We stopped in Lewisville, AR at Burges smoked meats for lunch. They have the BEST turkey sandwiches. Try this place!
Shopping There is a mall, with Dillards JC Penney, Sears
Entertainment Bowling, Wax Museum, lots of t shirt shops
Local Transportation Walking is easy
Prices Affordable
Fun For Kids Winter is not a good time for the Duck Boats but summer is
Fun For Mom & Dad Lots of great places to eat
Nearby Excursions Mineral baths and water is very therapeutic and there is a public fountain where you can fill a jug to take a little water home, It is Hot Springs after all
Pros & Cons Pros Its a great family place Cons A lot of people here for the horse races which makes a lot of traffic. Oaklawn Track
